The Sustainable Brand Index, an annual survey of 6,000 consumers on their perception of sustainability, has published its figures. Tony's Chocolonely has once again been voted the most sustainable (food) brand in the Netherlands. Zonnatura ranks second in the food and beverage industry and Campina third.
In the restaurant category, La Place is number 1, followed by McDonald's and Starbucks. In the retail category, IKEA is at the top, followed by Philips and The Body Shop. And Albert Heijn ranks first in the supermarkets category.
The Sustainable Brand Index included 167 Dutch brands in this survey.
