The new powerful slicer SLX 2000, with up to four tracks, achieves exceptionally high slicing speeds, regardless of the product. Meats, cheese and their alternative protein products with a maximum length of up to 1,600 mm can be sliced accurately and perfectly, even at higher temperatures.
The product slices are then placed on the portioning system in the predetermined arrangement pattern. Advanced technology ensures that the products are fed into the slicer very evenly and that the slicing results are perfect with minimal cut-off and give-away. This high-capacity slicer, sets a new benchmark in the market in many areas. Loading, slicing, portion feeding, packaging and labelling of sliced products - with MULTIVAC everything comes from a single source.
The SLX 2000 can be used as a stand-alone unit or as a module within a fully automated slicing and packaging line. The seamless integration of the slicer into the MULTIVAC Line Control (MLC) ensures that the machine and the line work together particularly efficiently. This includes start-up, stop, no-load operation and recipe changes throughout the line. Downtime during recipe or format changes is reduced to the absolute minimum. The IPC control with HMI 3 terminal simplifies operation and reduces possible operating errors, this ensures reliable and reproducible processes.
Another plus: Customers can use innovative developments, such as the MULTIVAC Sustainable Liquid Interleaver (SLI) for plastic-free slicing, instead of conventional plastic interleaves. This further reduces the consumption of plastic during packaging.
