With the innovative spray system: Sustainable Liquid Interleaving, MULTIVAC introduces a sustainable solution for the packaging of thinly sliced or highly adhesive products. The conventional interleaving of film between slices is no longer required, reducing the consumption of plastic during packaging to an absolute minimum.
The new system can be integrated into existing slicing lines and is available immediately for individual testing and product development at MULTIVAC's new Center of Excellence for Slicers & Automation Solutions.
Food producers can experience the benefits of the new solution for themselves: "We want to offer Sustainable Liquid Interleaving to our customers as an additional innovation for the sustainable processing and packaging of their products. Therefore, they are invited to get an impression of our innovative solution in our new Center of Excellence for Slicers & Automation Solutions," explains Manfred Achenbach, Senior Vice President of the Business Unit Slicing. "There, we test with their own products to develop a customised system that is perfectly tailored to the specific product characteristics and requirements of their slicing solution."
