Scoop: Banana drum motor

After a long development process, Procon has a drummotor ready in concept, which is especially suited for use in the fruit processing industry: bananas in particular. The shape of this drive is specially designed for this purpose. A Procon spokesman also sees possibilities in the meat processing industry, especially smoked sausages, vegetarian or otherwise.

There are also applications outside the food industry, such as the transport of horseshoes.

The drum motor will be tested and then introduced on 1 April 2021.
