At Food Tech Event 2025, visitors to sensor specialist Baumer’s booth in Hall 3, booth 79, can see first-hand how its award-winning sensors enhance efficiency in process automation—and why Baumer was recently recognised as a leading company in process technology.
In addition to its expertise in process sensor technology, Baumer will also showcase its high-performance sensor solutions for packaging applications.
CIP systems and heat exchangers offer significant savings potential for beverage producers.
Highly accurate measurements and fast response times help reduce energy and raw material costs.
For CIP applications, Baumer provides hygienic sensors that precisely and rapidly measure parameters such as conductivity, flow, temperature, level, and pressure.
One example is the ultra-compact PAC50 conductivity sensor from the new 50 series, specifically developed for the OEM market.
The PAC50 delivers high performance and is resistant to temperatures up to 140°C, making it ideal for small-scale production systems.
With the PLP70, Baumer makes continuous level measurement easier, more convenient, and significantly more flexible.
This potentiometric level sensor automatically adapts—even to homogeneous media with very low conductivity (greater than 5 microsiemens/cm)—and enables level readings through a large touch display.
Thanks to its extremely short response time, it is well-suited for applications where fill levels change rapidly, such as in filling processes.
Fast integration and easy commissioning: Baumer’s new development for code reading is highly user-friendly.
The IDC230 multi-code reader connects directly to a computer via USB-C and is operated through a web interface.
Auto-setup enables users to read different codes and perform OCR with a single click.
Baumer’s wear-free EB200E is ideal for precise conveyor control during filling and packaging operations.
Part of Baumer’s extensive encoder portfolio, the EB200E delivers position and speed data via an IO-Link interface and can also be configured as a speed monitor.
Two switching outputs monitor overspeed, speed range, standstill, or direction of rotation. Its ultra-compact design ensures seamless integration into any machine.
Baumer specialises in sensor solutions that help conserve resources. Tobias Niederberger, Baumer Industry Segment Manager for Food & Beverage, will explain how users can benefit from this expertise in his presentation: “Reliable and accurate sensor technology saves time, energy, and resources” on Thursday, 15 May 2025, from 12:00 to 12:25 in room 2.
