Groothedde Vaassen part of ABP Foodgroup

ABP Foodgroup and Groothedde Vaassen BV, announced on 30 September 2020 that Groothedde Vaassen BV will become part of ABP Foodgroup. After an intensive cooperation of more than 20 years with ABP, Groothedde has decided to sell the shares to continue as part of the ABP Foodgroup.

ABP Foodgroup has always seen the Netherlands as an important export market and together with Groothedde the company has been able to secure a good position here from the various branches of ABP. Through this takeover ABP is building on a further continuation in the Dutch market. As a result of this merger, the lines of communication will become even shorter and it will be possible to respond more quickly to clients' wishes and specific market demands.

Groothedde will continue to operate in the familiar way, from the same location and with the same product range. René Groothedde will take over the day-to-day management.
