The finalists of Amsterdam Food Pitch are known! The jury tasted all submitted products on Monday 24 August and selected 12 finalists. On 25 September, the finalists will be sampling their product in the self-service facility of De Kweker.
On November 5, 2020, the finalists will pitch their product in front of the professional jury at the self-service location of De Kweker in Amsterdam. The press and friends and family of the finalists will be invited to this final. The vote of the professional jury is decisive and the winner will be announced during the event. The public's votes count for 25% in the assessment.
- Marcel van der Heijden, Pascal Labrie and Hidde Stolwijk with 'Karma Shoarma': a 100% vegetable shoarma made from Dutch grains and vegetables.
- Guy and Inbal Katz with 'Knafeh Amsterdam': A crispy pastry with aromatic and flowery syrup. Shredded filo pastry as bottom, marinated in butter, filled with mozzarella and more filo pastry.
- Marika van Santvoort with 'Pacha de Cacao': A fresh cacao juice, made from the residual product of the cacao fruit. Partly made in South America and partly in the Netherlands.
- Alex Kitain with 'Freshdip': An innovation single-serve coffee-dripper that allows you to make coffee anywhere and anytime with hot water.
- Liselotte and Rugter with 'Leppa Limo': A fresh drink made from the peels and bells of apples.
- Maxine Agveman and Jobien Groen with 'MAX&BIEN': Plant-based butter in flavours natural and seaweed.
- Anne Luz Pijnenburg and Moritz Huber with 'Raw, fermented, organic vegetables': fermented vegetables.
- Kristin Fritz with 'KIRSCROSTINI': Thinly sliced baguettes, baked in the oven.
- Charlotte Zum Vörde Sive Vörding with 'Charly's Cream': Organic Fairtrade vegan cashew spread.
- Marjolijn Balk with 'Vegetable burgers': Vegetable burgers based on Dutch vegetables, unsprayed and from local growers.
- Edith Goossens with 'Lisa's Choice Vegan pastry': Pastry 100% organic, gluten free, vegan and without refined sugars.
- Willem Sodderland with 'Seamore's seaweed chips': Green tortilla chips made of seaweed.
