Bracamonte Convenient Kitchen has become the new owner of StarCuisine, the specialist in ultra-fresh convenience meals and food service solutions. This strategic acquisition strengthens Bracamonte’s position within the rapidly growing convenience market in both Retail and Foodservice. StarCuisine offers a wide range of ultra-fresh meals, perfectly aligning with Bracamonte’s ambitions.
Since 2021, Bracamonte had a minority stake in StarCuisine, but they are now expanding this to full ownership. The growth of the convenience sector and Bracamonte’s ambition to play a leading role are the driving forces behind this decision. With this acquisition, Bracamonte can further strengthen its offering of ultra-fresh meals and capture an even larger market share.
Bracamonte Convenient Kitchen has also owned Sushi Ran, the market leader in packaged sushi and bowls, since 2019. The acquisition of StarCuisine provides opportunities for unique collaboration between the two brands. Through shared knowledge and resources, they can innovate together and respond to the growing demand for convenience meals. Sandrijn Poortman, General Director of Bracamonte, sees this collaboration as a significant step towards the future of convenience food.
The current owners of StarCuisine will remain involved in the company to further realize the joint ambitions. This ensures continuity and strengthens the cooperation between the two brands. Bracamonte’s commitment to innovation and quality in the convenience food market remains strong, contributing to their leading position.
