Acquisition of Dupont Cheese completed by Vandersterre

Milcobel and Vandersterre Groep Bedrijven B.V. have completed the acquisition of the activities of Dupontcheese Nederland. Dupontcheese Nederland, the department of dairy cooperative Milcobel and responsible for the distribution of authentic and traditional cheeses in the Netherlands, will be in the hands of the family company Vandersterre as of 30 September 2019.

This acquisition strengthens Vandersterre Groep's position in the Dutch cheese speciality market. The activities of Dupontcheese Nederland will be continued as of that date under the name Vandersterre Vers concepts. In addition to the further expansion of the range of Dutch cheese specialties, Vandersterre will intensify the range of foreign cheese as well as the range of fresh concepts.
