Scienta nova BV acquired by FSC

On 20 November 2019, agreement was reached between Scienta nova in Raalte and Food Safety Consultancy (FSC) in Wijhe on the acquisition of all activities and personnel as of 1 January 2020.

The owner of Food Safety Consultancy, Bort Willem van der Veen, has extensive experience with food safety within the food industry, fast food sector, ingredients and inspections. He is a certified FSSC 22000 lead auditor and is better equipped than any other 'QESH/KAM manager food industry' to supplement training with practical matters from the professional field. 

In order to facilitate a good transfer, Scienta nova's IJsbrand Velzeboer will remain with FSC for another year as an advisor and will provide part of the lessons. In the meantime, the fifth book on food fraud will be completed with the working title: 'The white lies on my plate'.
