Mérieux NutriSciences acquires KTBA

Mérieux NutriSciences, a global player in food safety and quality, today announced the full acquisition of KTBA, a Dutch company offering premium quality assurance consultancy and training, label compliance, and software solutions to support the food industry in responding to the growing demands of food safety from the market and consumers.

Present in the Netherlands and in Belgium, KTBA provides a complete spectrum of quality and business assurance solutions building on more than 20 years of expertise. From consulting through training to label and regulatory compliance, KTBA serves a large panel of food processors and retailers.

The acquisition of KTBA strategically complements Mérieux NutriSciences services in the Netherlands where the company already operates testing activities in Ede, located in the Food Valley. This acquisition also strengthens Mérieux NutriSciences European label compliance, regulatory and risk monitoring services aiming at supporting its clients to make their products marketable and safe.
