Future Food Group launches new PLNT brand

Future Food Group has developed its own brand. Under the name PLNT it markets an extensive line of meat substitutes. Products that are not only good for people but also for our planet. With the vision of making meat substitutes tasty, sustainable and affordable, PLNT offers meat substitutes that are accessible to everyone. Products vary from vegetarian chicken strips to vegetable sandwich fillings and are available in both bulk and unit packs.

PLNT's slogan is: Tasty for today, the best for tomorrow. The need for meat substitutes is growing, but most products are not yet accessible or attractive to the masses. PLNT is there for everyone, all eaters at any time. By focusing on 'healthy and tasty' and 'responsible and affordable', PLNT strives for every consumer to enjoy the here and now, but with a focus on what is important for future generations and our planet.

Butchers at product development

Future Food Group believes that if we want to take real steps to make consumption more sustainable, it is precisely the meat eaters who must be persuaded. This can only be achieved by offering them truly tasty alternatives. Jos Havekotte, Innovation Manager at Future Food Group: "We keep meat eaters in mind as our target group. The development of our vegetable products is therefore also supervised by highly experienced butchers, who know exactly what a meat eater expects and likes. If the butchers agree, we know that we have a good alternative in our hands".

Responsible products

PLNT innovates and produces on the basis of what the planet offers us and with attention to our earth. PLNT's ingredients come from European soil and are processed into affordable and tasty products. Production takes place in the Netherlands.

PLNT has a wide range of products which will be further expanded in the future. PLNT has various product categories: Vegetables/bread spreads, Crispy bites, Seasonal specialties, The perfect base, Classics, Richly filled with vegetables and Our golden pride.

Packaging

PLNT's packaging line stands out directly in the retail landscape by its minimalist and colourful style. Each of the above categories has its own colour. The packaging is partly transparent so that the product stands out well and the consumer sees what it is buying. The use of materials in the packaging also suits a future-proof positioning. Future Food Group is aware of our shared responsibility for the environment and is therefore constantly looking for innovative ways to further expand the use of sustainable packaging.
