Future Farm ready to conquer Europe

  • 07 April 2020

Future Food Group enters into a unique partnership with Fazenda Futuro. Fazenda Futuro is the first Brazilian food technology company to produce meat from plants and has already made a name for itself on the South American continent. The company is now entering the European market under the name Future Farm. Future Food Group is the exclusive EU supplier of the qualitative, tasty and vegetable products of Future Farm.

Future Farm's objective is to produce exact meat replicas from plants in terms of texture and taste. In this way it contributes to reducing CO2 emissions and unnecessary animal suffering. Future Farm believes that the combination of innovation, sustainability and taste can lead to new products. Products that stand for conscious consumption and that taste good. Future Farm has already proven itself in South America. Time to conquer the rest of the world with their high quality products.

Marcos Leta, founder of Future Farm explains: "Brazil is a world leader in the production of meat and vegetables. I think we have a duty to be a global player in the vegetable industry. With our brand we want to make a real connection with the conscious consumer by providing them with quality vegetable products at a competitive price. Products that stand for combating deforestation in Brazil, conserving natural resources and reducing animal suffering for our consumption. Our goal is to be one of the biggest players in the field of plant products and bring joy to everyone's belly and to the planet".

Future products

Future Farm products have the same texture, juiciness and meat flavour as meat, but are completely vegetable. They are also gluten-free. At the Horecava, visitors could already get acquainted with the Future Burger, Future Mince and Future Meatballs. Visitors who tasted the products were very surprised, positive and enthusiastic.

The Future Farm products are available for both Foodservice/Cash and Carry and Retail.

Characteristic design

Future Farm distinguishes itself not only in quality and taste from its meatless burgers and minced meat. The brand also presents itself in its own unique way in terms of appearance. Is it futuristic or just with a penchant for nostalgia? Striking and different, it certainly is. This is also the opinion of Remy van der Geer, columnist at Marketing Tribune, who mentioned it in his article about branding at the Horecava.

Collaboration

Future Food Group, headed by Mr. Anton Bal, was to arrange the distribution of Future Farm for Europe. "The vision we have with Future Food Group is 'high-protein food of the future'. We develop our own products for this purpose, but we are also open to other food producers who, like us, have sustainability and the future as their core value. Together you can move forward. The discussions we had with Future Farm quickly showed that our visions corresponded. In addition, their products are extremely good and appropriate to the level and price we want to offer the market. It's just a shame not to introduce them to Europe".

Mr. Leta joins them. "I think we have found a partner in Future Food Group who pursues the same goal and can provide us with the necessary knowledge and information about the EU market. The expectation is a long-term, close partnership in which we will actively create a strong brand in Europe".

The first fruits of the cooperation can be harvested soon. After an introduction at the Horecava, the next steps have been taken to conquer Europe. As a result, the first Future Farm products will be available at several retailers and wholesalers in April.
